Trying to remember a scripture about allowing men to interpret bible for us.

i just took my dog out for a walk and found an awake laying on the ground, all wet where someone threw it.

so i picked it up because i thought it would be worth a few laughs.

i'm absolutely stunned by the amount of statements they make, statitstics they quote without naming a source.

ADAMAKAWEE; good catch and it in most all wt mag's. and i use just this to make jw liars... a jw will give me a new mag and I ask have you tested everything in this mag to prove it's contents is truth? In most cases the jw will say they have read and know it to be truth.. then I pull out such a line in the mag that the L.A. TIMES ,NATIONAL GROGRAPH, DR SHITH ,PASTOR RUSSELL SAID IN A 1921 WT. SO AND SO. then i ask the jw did you look up that l.a. times article? or that 1921 wt? they will say no then I ask them "you just told me you tested everything in this mag"? so your a liar and a false witness in the name of jehovah, you know the bible say prove all thing true... I can take this on for hours and embarrass the jw's again great observation.

IN fact there was a meteorite shower in the year 1829 and RUSSELL SAID IN STUDIES IN THE SCRIPTURES that was proof of the time of the end and the forfullment of the verse that says the stars will fall from the SKY...

metaron hit the nail on the head. getting banned in russia will not help the wts gain members there or anywhere else I've been saying here for years that the russians banning the wts there was a great idea, and I took a lot of heat for it. and education of the public while you let the wts ply their trade will not be effective or cost effective. there will always be jw's in russia but the wts is out of BUSINESS THERE and that's what pisses the gb off.

and, while we're at it, what did you feel was the best technique/were the best techniques for 'awakening' jws to the problems/threats within the wtbts??.

i was initially awakened by the realization that the bible writers had no clue about how the earth really worked - which meant that their god had no clue, either.

when exodus 19: 16-19 was read in the kh, i realized (as a young child, 7 or 8 if i remember correctly...) that those bible verses were describing a volcanic eruption - and the isra-el-ites - and their 'god' - were totally clueless as to the true nature of that eruption and mountain.... that was my first eye-opener... then there was the fellow - a householder - who said to me when i was a cute kid at the door helping 'spread the word', "those people are using you!".

ziddina ; good topic I recall it was the may 15 or aug 15 1968 wt that said along with others that told us young kids to forgo college and become carpenters, toilet bowl cleaners, and shit shovelers. because we would never grow old enough in this system to recieve the fruits of education. or retirement. they were even saying that the war in vietman was the start of armageddom. with the U.S.S.R. being the king of the north and taking over the united states and britian. what a load of crap.

I would say I know one old time elder that left after years talking to him . but i can't take credit, and i know about 90% of the kids i went to the hall with 40 years ago are no longer jw's . but again I take no credit. i know an other P.O. that I have had years of arguements with that stopped being an elder and moved to kansas. again I take no credit. I was talking with some bethel elder about 6 years ago for a few months and all he wanted to talk about the the watchtower involvement with the UNITED NATIONS. seemed that the wts being member of the U.N. REALLY PISSED THIS bethelite off. have no idea what happened to him . I can say for sure that some of the old time jw;s I grew up with will not talk to their kids just based in the fact that their kids still talk to me and that their parents lie to them today what was being taught about 1975 and the generation of 1914 when we were kids. did I make any if these kids from my local hall leave NO . but when we talk about old stories about 1975 and how our jw parents now lie about it today it makes family relations worst. as I have heard from the grape vine. again I have no count and from about 10 jw family members only have one today. AND I take no credit. they all left years ago. and i have 6 brother and sisters about 20 cousins, and about 12 neices all indoctronated into the wts. and non of them will ever become jw's or even let my dad preach to them thanks to me. in fact 2 of my brother and one sister are active apostates. taking it to jw's in the streets

Ziddina: my point in posting that I can out argue 99% of jw's is not for my EGO. mY point is to help other posters stand up to tyrant jw's that think they know it all. and it's easy to do with a little ACCURATE KNOWLEDGE OF WT DOCTRINE. I stopped telling my stories talking with jw's here about 3 years ago. I have nothing to prove to you or the posters here, In fact the reason I've been posting a bit the last few days is my t.v. broke. But I will tell you something all those 100's of jw's that laughed at me for the last 40 years. Are not laughing at me now. they are all scared shit to even talk to me because they know I will turn their spritual paradise (wt doctrine ) into a big pile of shit in 5 minutes. you want to call that bragging maybe. but these jw scumbags told me to test anything the wts taught as they had nothing to hide. well they didn't like what i found , and they told my dad to throw me into the street. and for 6 months I lived in the back seat of a little car, till i saved up for and studio apt. It's not about me, been there did that. maybe guys like Garyneal and others will learn what the wts will do to them before the wts takes control of thier whole family. and my story is nothing ask lawrence hughes, whose daughter was killed by wts lawyers and broke up his family because of blood, or barbara anderson who was thrown out of bethel and df'ed because she told about jw's protecting child molesters. it's a long list of wts destroying lives. john

gary neal: I'm not always loud and rude as I come across showing you a different angle. I talk to 1000's of jw's every year and I always start off polite. And I take special care to inform young jw's about the wts and give them a bit of a wt history lesson, and direct them were to find out more about the wt. for any jw that is willing to listen to what I have to say, I'm very nice. I can see a weak jw 2 blocks away and I focus on them. It's not until the elder in field serv with them comes up and rudely tries to cut me off that I open up. then I shut him down. I try to teach jw's more in 5 minutes about the wts than they have learned at the hall in 30 years. sometimes it works sometimes not at least I try. But I'm far from a screaming nut job. I pick my spots as the time arises. I just talked to this middle aged jw 3 times in the last week for over an hour at a time. he found me interesting and what made him call me back was that what I told him he looked up and found was true. so we have a common ground FACTS. Will he leave the wts and lose his family ? I don't think so. you talked about your daughter going to dance school great . the jw's hate the idea your girl could be knocking on doors during dance class, at the hall cleaning the bathroom, studing the latest mag. I kid you not try taking your girl out on sunday to the movies or zoo during meeting time and see how they act . Invite the jw's to your house to sing christmas carols under your tree, or invite them to a birthday party . and see how fast they will not want to be around you. if your wife has to work during meeting time they will tell her to take off from work or even leave her job as the meeting are more important than her employment. you say your baby girl is 3 years old , you want her to be around these people? might as well let here hang around with pimps and drug dealers. because the jw's are nothing more than DOPE PUSHERS, trying to turn you 3 year old into a watchtower ZOMBIE BY THE TIME SHES 18. think about what I say here , as I'm sure no poster here would say I'm a wild and crazy loud mouth, with what the jw's want to do to your wife and kids. john
